This study is the first to consider a distribution-free approach in newsvendor model with transfer of risk and back-ordering. Previously, many articles, discrete demand considered. In this model, we selling single seasonal item price-dependent stochastic demand. Competition markets has forced retailer manufacturer coordinate decentralized supply chain management. A coordination contract made between overcome randomness for short-life-cycle product. The pays an additional amount per product unsold items. bears cost products from retailer. Shortages are allowed back-ordering costs during season. developed solved only available data mean standard deviation. Stackelberg’s game used calculate optimal ordering quality price. aims maximize expected profit by optimizing unit price ordered quantity through coordination. To illustrate that robust, numerical experiment sensitivity analyses conducted both centralized For applicability real-world business scenario, managerial insights provided analysis.
